Glade® Energy Management
Most consumers shop for candles by one deciding factor: scent and scent alone. Glade developed a niche marketing strategy for an existing line of candles under the specialized sentiment of Energy Management. Much like aromatherapy, this “new” collection is intended to help guide your mood with unique essential oil fragrance blends.
My team worked closely on this project to come up with a unique way to showcase the reframe of these candles by inviting shoppers to “Set the Mood” and “Discover scent crafted for how [they] want to feel” in lieu of just shopping by scent. We aimed high and prototyped an interactive full-bay display that guided consumers with lighting, sampling, and educational videos—reversing the shopper norm in hopes of boosting sales.
In addition to the interactive display, we also took into consideration the reality of cost and feasibility within several of our Global Markets and came up with cardboard displays that brought the same concept to life in a more executable way.
